Banjaard beach (2 km)
Banjaardstrand between Kamperland and Vrouwenpolder is a spacious and clean beach on the North Sea. It forms the head of the island of Noord-Beveland. The Banjaardstrand has been voted Cleanest Beach countless times. The beach is more than three kilometers long and in some places 500 meters wide. You have a view of the most famous Delta work: the Oosterscheldekering.
Veerse Meer (3 km)
This lake is an attractive water sports location for surfers, sailors, anglers and recreational divers. There are 17 islands in the lake, 5 of which are especially for birds. They can rest, eat and breed there. The other 12 islands are accessible to visitors. You will find playgrounds and walking forests. DeltaPark Neeltje Jans (8½ km)
In this theme park you can learn all about the Delta Works, the disaster of 1953, marine animals and you can enjoy yourself in the water park or just relax during the cruise on the Oosterschelde.
Sailing on the Oosterschelde - Zierikzee (30 km)
Two historic sailing ships organize sailing trips on the Oosterschelde. You can book for a day or for an afternoon.
